About the Oregon Treble Ensemble (6th – 12th grade treble voices)
I love choir! Out of all the different choirs I have sung in, the Oregon Children’s Choir has been the most encouraging of them all. Jennifer Searl is an amazing choir conductor. It has been a huge honor for me to have her for the past three years. I am going to miss her shining spirit very much. – Mellissa Morgan
If you love to sing, love to make great friends and love to have a lot of fun creating beautiful music, then this is the place for you!
Come and make lifetime friendships with other choristers. We work hard and accomplish an amazing sound by the end of the year. You’ll learn how to sing better, gain confidence, be challenged, work as a team and be filled with wonderful music that will brighten your whole life. Join us and be one of our exceptional singers who have something to sing about!
I have really enjoyed all of my experiences in OCC! Jennifer Searl is the best director I have ever had. It’s fun to be part of this singing community and I have made many new friends. I hope to be able to do this again next year! – Mally Wyld
The Oregon Treble Ensemble is for singers in the 6th – 12th grades. We sing a variety of music including classical, contemporary choral, jazz, folksongs from around the world and music by local composers. We perform in the local community and have occasional social gatherings throughout the year. The Oregon Treble Ensemble rehearses every Monday afternoon. This choir sometimes goes on a day trip or 3-4 day performance tour in the spring.
I have made new friends, had fun experiences and I have learned how much I love to sing and be in choir. I have learned new songs, and the ones that I really love, I always sing, even when I am not at choir rehearsal. I always look forward to choir and I believe I have grown in my musical abilities. Thanks Jennifer and thanks OCC! – Ally Reiling
